Did your steel crush washers corrode and leak after 3 years?

Just installed this 3 days ago, and it rained today, from the inside of the Jeep looking up at the entire perimeter, all four corners water stains reaching out forming this giant square connecting wet spot. What the heck kind of top is this that would not be able to handle rain???? This is obviously very shoddy material. I've never heard of any brand new soft top having such an issue. And the wind noise is unreal, this top is absolute garbage!

Did you plug the holes where you removed the stock license plate bracket? If so what did you use? Thanks

this rack is only rated at 300 lbs? wouldn't want to put a tent up there, but fine for gear.

I know someone who has a '77 Jeep CJ7 with a carbureted 5.0L 304ci that I can't get to start. I have to believe it is an ignition problem because it cranks but will not kick over to start. He says that he thinks it's getting fuel. What might be the issue?

Man, I literally have the exact same jeep, same color. Mine is all over the road as well and I’m fed up with trying to figure what to do. I’ve replaced shackles, steering stabilizer, front alignment and ball joints. New steering column and gearbox, as well as steering linkage. I’m gonna try this now and see if it helps too. Glad I saw this video.

Did you have issues with one side of the sway bar being higher and other side lower?

Your steering issue is from the long shackles in the front ,they probably made your caster angle negative and that made the problems with steering. You need 7-8° of positive caster to get the jeep to drive nice and you also need to install a trac bar to hold the axle stationary left to right as you steer and drive, be safe ,God bless

What color is the engine block? Im building a Vortec long block for my 85 CJ7 and want to paint it a similar color or something close to the factory garnet red metallic

I have a inverter I want to install but I have the same problem. I can't find a good spot to install. I'm kind of leaning towards installing it on the tailgate but I'm not sure about the wires moving back and forth every time I open and close the tailgate.

a lot of roof racks out there but the garvin roof rack is the best . i have the same one on my 1990 jeep yj and looks awesome

I used to have a regular tj and bought a new too back then .. very cheap and believe me , cheap tops suck!!! . I have a new bestop on my LJ and love it!

Well That’s the easy line even four years later it’s still the easy line. Go left and as far left as you can, or right as far right as you can for the five. There’s an easy line on almost every five out there, you have to hit the hard line before calling it easy lol.
